Taylor Swift is doing well on the music charts. Her album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is number one on the Billboard 200 for the fourth week in a row. It’s also been at the top of the Australian ARIA charts for eight weeks. Taylor Swift has three albums in the top 10, with “Midnights” and “Lover” at the third and seventh spots. The British rock group has the record for the most weeks at the top of the Billboard charts, with an incredible 132 weeks. “1989” moved up from the second spot last week, selling 136,000 album units in the U.S. That’s a 25% increase from the previous week, possibly because of holiday promotions. The album first topped the charts on November 11 and November 18, then returned to the top on December 9. In the rankings, Taylor Swift’s “1989” and Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” switched places, with “Pink Friday” now at number two. “Pink Friday” sold 100,000 album units, down 56% from its debut last week. Other albums in the top 10 include Michael Buble’s “Christmas” at number four, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” at number five, and Drake’s “For All the Dogs” dropping from third to sixth. Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song” is back in the top 10 at eighth place, while SZA’s “SOS” falls to ninth and Mariah Carey’s “Merry Christmas” returns to the top 10 for the holiday season.
